Texas Scramble Format
Shotgun start: Note the tee box you start from and be prepared to begin at the blast of the gun at approximately 9:00 AM.
Men tee off from the black markers and ladies tee off from all tan markers except for the par 3 holes.
Each player will tee off on every hole and play "best ball." The best drive is selected by mutual agreement. All team members will pick up their balls and move to the selected position.
The second shot will be shot from within 1 club length of that ball, except on the green where it will be within 6 inches, in both cases no nearer to the hole.
No player will hit 2 shots in a row on the same hole. In other words, after a person's shot is selected, only the other 3 players will hit the next shot. Continue this pattern until the ball is holed.
If the shot is played from a sand trap, the trap may be raked between shots.
Each player will hit a minimum of 3 drives/tee-offs and a maximum of 6 drives/tee-offs.
Mulligans
Mulligans may be purchased before your round begins at 1 for $20. A maximum of 2 mulligans can be redeemed per player.
Mark on the score card the hole number the mulligan was redeemed on. The vouchers must be presented with your score card at the end of your round.
NOTE: Mulligans may NOT be used for any bonus games and/or hole-in-ones.
HOLE-IN-ONE Criteria
A minimum of a 150-yard tee shot from the pin is required for both men and women on all hole-in-one prize holes.
Only the first shot of each player from the tee is eligible. No mulligans allowed!
Award will only be presented to the first player of the tournament who scores a hole-in-one on the specified hole.
Scorekeeping
The person with the lowest handicap for each team shall be the captain and shall keep score.
The scorekeeper will record the team score per hole and drives used per player.
The scorekeeper will sign the card and have one team member attest the card and turn in the card to the pro shop score table immediately after the completion of the round.
Determination of scores
The official tournament scorekeeper will handicap each team's score based on a pre-arranged scoring system based upon the handicaps submitted.
All decisions of the official tournament scorekeeper are absolute and final.
